After 30 years of serving award winning pizza in Sumter, SC, Billy Lane was approached about opening a location in Elgin. Billy had often thought about expanding, but because of the demands of his 4,500 square foot, high volume restaurant he did not want to do it alone. So Billy ran the idea by one of his regular customers, Charles Hodge, a successful Sumter businessman. It took more time for Charles to order a pizza than to say yes to a partnership expanding the Pizza Lane Concept.

    Now Elgin will be able to experience why year after year Pizza Lane is voted the best Pizza in Sumter. But don’t stop with pizza, the marinated wings and St. Louis style ribs are uniquely delicious, the pasta is excellent and by all means everyone should try the secret house dressing.
Billy extends an invitation for everyone in Elgin to visit his restaurant located at 460 Broad Street in Sumter. Practically every square inch is covered in turn of the century memorabilia. Three of his dining rooms continuously play the old Looney Tunes Cartoons to keep the children occupied while Billy gives personal tours of Pizza Lane.
